There was plenty of warpaint to be had between the Cubs, not to mention teepee and wigwam building.
'Wide Games' were also played through the weekend including tugs of war against one another, not to mention against the Asistant Leader and the GSL - but lets not go there!!
The new term is now upon us with a new schedule to suit, if you have not had a copy of the schedule you should be be able to view it <here>.
A new Cub got invested, David (See photo), not to mention his hidden talent for singing as the Leaders (AKA Simon Cowell, Sharon Osborne .....)
The Cubs meet on a Tuesday evening between 6.45pm and 7.30pm to do activities that range from badge work to outdoor activities and everything in between. Our primary objectives are for the Cubs to learn, gain experience, understand and respect themselves/others and more importantly .... to have fun.
We like to pride ourselves on the fact that we put the children first, to help this we now have a programme that helps young leaders who have come up through the ranks from Beavers to Scouts/Explorers. These young leaders want to take on a more serious role which is both enjoyable and rewarding for them, they help run the various groups and get a taste of how active and rewarding being a leader can be.
